ETSO faces the growing demand in Europe for increased
transparency on the data that is held and managed by Transmission
System Operators (TSOs). An easy access to pan-European information
on Power Systems is a key issue in developing a well functioning
Internal Electricity Market and TSOs have a major role in delivering
such accurate information to all parties at the same time. TSOs
remain fully responsible for the data publication.
Answering to the wishes expressed by Market participants, Regulators
and other bodies, the following information can be obtained through
the ETSO website:
1. Data on the interconnections between countries, including:
- Interconnection capacities at different time frames (seasonal
reference values, day-ahead values) and the methodology and
assumptions used to compute them (including the Base Case Exchange)
- Allocation mechanisms
- Allocation results
- Scheduled exchanges
- Some measure of the real use of the network at a given moment
(TCUs)
2. Data on grid availability, including:
- Planned outages on the network, and influence on capacities
- Information on outages and system disturbances
3. Load data: forecasts, real-time data.
4. Generation data: expected planned outages, Energy stored in
hydro reservoirs. |
